I know this seems to be a pervasive problem but my 2tb My Passport won’t mount on my Macbook Pro w/ 10.10.4. Doesn’t show in Disk Utilities or Terminal.
My 1tb drive mounts with no issue. Any solution to this? Thanks.

Does the drive work onb a different computer? Also try to use the unit with a different USB cable to see if this fixes the issue.
Yes, the drive works fine on other computers. It looks like the drive requires more power from the usb port. Is this so? My 1 TB Passport works fine as well on this mac. Thanks.
It would seem so, are the other computer Mac’s as well?
