Virtual cd to boot OS

i want to use the buildt in virtual to add a iso of an OS like linux or windows to boot from the harddrive.

just an option to add an iso and then the drive sets it up.

when i boot op the pc and have the drive pluged in i can chose the ses drive so that would be nice.

it could even contain several types of bootable iso :slight_smile:

Iā€™m not WD employee, but I like the idea.

IMO - it will be extremely hard to create. (I understand how operating systems work, so I see difficulties)

It means that USB HDD must emulate USB DVD-ROM somehow + loop-mount some OS ISO from the main hard disk somehow. IMO ā€“ very difficult to create such beast.
