My Book AV, DVR Extender, Does NOT work with Time Warners Arris DCX 3600-M, Their Latest Cable Box

Is there a way to make the My Book AV work with this cable box?  The cable box boot up after the eSata connection to the Extender results in no reduction to the “space used” on the cable box.  The Extender previously worked with the Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8300 HDC cable box.  Time Warner does not support the use of Extenders for either box.  Since this a major box improvement for Time Warner (simultaneous recording of 6 channels), it is likely to be very popular.  If the current My Book AV cannot be made to function with this cable box, I would like to suggest that a software update be produced for it, or a new version of My Book AV be developed.
