10,000 rpm external drive

I was wondering …  it would be nice to have a 10,000rpm passport drive , connected by e-sata …

If you move it when it is on, or drop it, the platters will fly out of the passport haha, anyways, it will ■■■■ up a lot of power causing more power consumption and the fact that it wouldn’t be fun if it was loud and the fact that the perfect RPM for hard drives are 5200 RPM

A USB 3.0 External Velociraptor  !!!

Sweet

(Without the Virtual CD !)

I use externals to boot Linux OS .

They work great except the last one with the VCD :frowning:

well overkill

you can make your own atm

  1. buy a WD Velociraptor

2. buy  a external USB 3.0 or eSATA enclosure

3. volla, you got a  10k external Velociraptor
