Hi all, so I have 2 hard disk on my computer, the first one Seagate(C: ) which saves my OS and another one WD Caviar Green (WD15EADS D: ) which serves as storage. They both work well until recently I formatted my C: , since then my D: would work extremely slow on read/write especially if I run setup files at D:. I have some games installed on D: and the game runs smoothly, well for a while before it stops responding and won't recover. I am suspecting this has to do with my WD15EADS as well. So guys, please shed some light on me? Thanks.
Edit: OS before format and after format are the same though, which is WinXP.

Use each manufacturer's diagnostic tools and perform complete tests on each disk. This is the best way to get an overall pictures of a dive's health status.

Actually I have run several tests on them but results returned okay. I have searched the forum and I noticed other users experienced sudden slowdown of this Caviar Green drive as well. But I couldn't found the real problem and the fix (other than RMA).
