Western Digital VelociRaptor and SSD Caching?

Hello WD Community,

I was wondering if someone could help me, I have a motherboard that supports SSD caching, and have an SSD drive. I have recently purchased Western Digital VelociRaptor 500GB (WD5000HHTZ) and was wondering whether or not this hard drive supports SSD caching, as I have read somewhere that it doesn’t? Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

why do you need ssd caching ?

if you need something serious use only an ssd for os

use the velociraptor for storage of programs that you dont need the speed of ssd

Thanks for the reply,

I wanted SSD caching to make my overall system run even quicker, when booting up, installing  and running games, copying files etc?

Any ideas then guys???
