Maybe linux is not the issue…
I got a replacement drive by my vendor. Situation seems to be the same so far: 200 GB free left and again writing goes down @ 1 mb
I still have NO reply by WDC support on my case. I opened the case on 11th Jan and according to WD, the response time has to be around 1-2 days…
The next time I buy HDDs maybe the lack of support will take part in my decision.
The drive isn’t even listed under the Caviar Green download section!
