WD400EB HD slave not recoginized by windows XP

I have installed  a WD400EB HD as slave in old Dell Desktop.  Bios recognizes  WDslave drive but Windows XP doesn’t.

Master HD is a 20GB Maxtor ( Seagate) Model 28020H1.  I have tried all jumper settings recommended  in the info that came with  the WD HD.   What should the jumper settings be on the Master (Maxtor) HD ?

Thanks!

Is not the jumpers, if the drive is being recognize by the bios, you should be able to see the drive on the Disk management and you should be able to initialize the drive.
