We are speaking about one model, the WD1003FZEX , not the entire “black” product line .
Early versions given were “real blacks”, mine is a rebadged blue, with the same light weight, poor performance, and aspect that the blue version, and your video link can’t change the reality .
Theses are fact, nothing is worse that a “marketing” answer .
Why would we suddenly go from “real blacks” to “fake blacks” as a product line? If you really think that there is something wrong with your drive, please contact support and they will do what they can to help you with it.
