Hi,

We will connect 4 drives RE4 with an Adaptec RAID controller.  These drive do not have an activity LED itself but it send a signal to the motherboard HD activity, right?

If I have a single failure drive, how I will get the right one if the drive doesn’t have a LED on it ?  I have to close my ear from the drive and find the “bad click” with a sort of lucky day or I can find a better way to show each activity drive separately ?

The RAID controller should let you know depending on the position that you installed the drive
