Velociraptor in laptop?

Hi well the Raptors come in a 3.5 inch cooling plate or icepack  removing them from the icepack  voids the warranty. In the icepack  my max temp has been 33c . I have seen people try to use them in a laptop, bought without the icepack but they are to thick and you cant close the cover. But they dont run any hotter than a normal drive in the icepack. I imagine with no cooling it would run hotter test them and see.
