Service is very poor

I’m sorry to say but I’m very much disappointed about your pick up service of Defective Desktop Internal HardDrive.

I hav log complaint on 22nd October 2010 and till date I’m waiting for pick up the product for replacement.

For India it shows office timing from 9am to 6pm.

but if u call any time its always on hold for more then 30 mins and same old recorded stuff

all our customer care executive are busy attending to call please hold.

after holding for 30 - 35 mins it gets disconnected automatically.

Secondly there is no Online Chat Customer Care like Intel

Third if we go to contact page there is no email mentioned any where

If u need to email from their website u need to fill in a long form

where they will ask u all model no your rma and so on…

and when u mail them u get a common repply saing fwd to the concerned department.

Please improve your product service.

Yes, agreed with you.  WD service **bleep**!.  No local service centers, call up phone support takes forever.  Everything must be done via post and sender is responsible to pay for all shipment cost.

My HD failed after 2 mths.  Did an RMA, got back an older inferior model.  I paid slightly more for the new green 3 platter version but got back an older 4 platter version instead.

This will be my first and last time I will buy anything from WD!!!

lucky in here we dont need to pay to courier as they arrange it.

but ya its really difficult to get through any of the nos.

I got a replacement of my 1TB hard disk after 5 months but got 1.5TB in return.
