RMA HDD has '00PASB0' in the model number; what does it mean?

I wish to know the meaning of 00PASB0  added to my replaced HDD’s model number: WD15EARX-00PASB0.

I know it must be having some significance, so out of curiosity I ask this.

Thanks.

Hi if you look here it will explain what all the codes mean.  http://www.wdc.com/wdproducts/library/other/2579-001028.pdf

“PAS” is a “family identifier” while “B0” is a “Customer Configuration Code”.
