Panic! WD WD40EZRX and WD30EZRX had a temperature of 60 degrees celsius

When i was gaming for two hours i unaware that my discs had a temperature of 60 degrees. It’s really hot outside and i had locked my pwm-fans at a fixed rpm which prevented them to increase their rotations which resulted in overheated drives.

Is it any danger?

Hi both those drive’s are listed for a max temp of 60 so they should be fine just don’t make the same mistake again.

WD drives are prepared for that and much more

if they are working as they should they survived the burning test :stuck_out_tongue:

dont worry mate
