Need enclosure recommendation for MAc OS X 10.8.5 for WD 3.0TB 30EZRX

Can anyone recommend an enclosure or enclosure tyoe that will allow my 30EZRX to work with my MacBook Pro running OS X 10.8.5.

Standard USB 2.0 doesn’t seem to work but probably due to the LBA 32-bit limitiation. Is there a specific type enclosure I would need and how do I find it. Amazon does not go into much detail about their enclosures. 

I would love to install this in a NAS box but there aren’t many that work with Mac. FireWire 800 1394b would be my next choice. 

Any ideas would be very helpful. Thanks.
