Mixing NASware and NASware 2.0

I have a drive array using six (6) WD20EFRX-68AX9NO drives (WD Red) dated Sep 2012 that have been working without issues for a couple years now. I purchased two (2) more to add to the array for a total of eight (8). They are WD20EFRX-68EUZNO drives dated May 2014. The first six drives are labled NASware and the last two are labled NASware 2.0

I have not seen any firmware updates for these. Should I expect any issues mixing these two models? I always like to run the same models including the same firmware if possible.

This is running on an Adaptec ASR7805 Raid Controller under Windows Home Server 2011 on an ASUS P8H67-M motherboard if that helps.

If the RAID controller card that you are using does not requiere the same firmware, you shouldn’t have any issues with that.

There shouldn’t be any problems with the different versons of NASware working together.
