Issues with my WD-Black

So I bought a brand new WD Black from Amazon recently. The read speeds are fine around 120MBps but I am having issues with the write speed.

Running CrystalDiskMark on the HDD gives me 7.1MBps under sequential write speeds.

Looking online and at other benchmarks I should be getting somewhere near 80, and this is becoming a problem because when I am trying to transfer a movie or a large ammount of music to my flash drive or even to a Plex folder for streaming to my other network devices, it jumps up to 150MBps and then quickly plunges down to 3-5MBps, making it a pain in my as to transfer anythign from the hard drive to anywhere else.

I have tried using HDTune to test it but I cant write with HDTune for some reason even though the read speeds are giving me around 120. I have tested it with CrystalDiskMark as shown here:  http://pastebin.com/3Q7RYtj9 . I have updated my chipset drivers and enabled AHCI on my motherboard. Its a brand new drive but I also checked to make sure the disk was aligned correctly. I have run out of ideas and so I dont know what to do going forward. Am I just stuck with such abysmal write speeds or does it get better.

EDIT: My drive is a WD1003FZEX and my dxdiag is here in case that matters:  http://pastebin.com/CDTKDuBV

EDIT2: Here is my CrystalDiskInfo if it matters:  http://pastebin.com/MVqJuuu3

Hello,

You can also try a diagnostic using WD DLG to verify the drive’s health.
