I got a new WD15EADS-00S2B0 and encountered a reading error very soon . According to the CrystalDiskInfo,the power on hours are 9 hours only and the Current Pending Sector Count increased 1 . I have another WD15EADS-00R6B0 which power on hours are 2469 hours ,and there are no Current Pending Sectors or Reallocated sectors.
In fact ,I had encountered successive three WD15EADS-00S2B0 had defects. The first one 's motor failed at the beginning,the second 's motor failed in two days. I do not think it’s my system’s power issue. Because my WD15EADS-00R6B0 is still healthy . And I just connect only one 1.5TB hard drive each time.
I strongly recommend WD to check the quality of the WD15EADS-“00S2B0” entirely.
