Yep. Once a disk starts reporting bad sectors it’s pretty much a gonner. You can try and fix them. But more will crop up soon enough.

The only time I recommend repairing bad sectors with utilities is if you had some sort of power glitch or loss while the disk was in the process of writing the “suspect” sector. In that case you can “fix” it and continue on as if nothing happened.
