I already did. I used smartmontools and aida64. Same result. I doubt the software is the issue.
Also, I tried this with two different mainboards (Asus P8P67 Deluxe rev2.0 and Gigabyte GA-P35C-DS3R). Same result here as well.
Anyone running the same HDD as me, could you check your smart values as well and post them here? Since I got three drives with the identical issue, it might be an issue with the whole RE3 1TB series.
Edit: Just like I thought… it certainly is counting the hours, but its loosing those from time to time. log of the same RE3 1TB from above, just one day later:
