Suddenly, my laptop started working very slow, i thought my os got corrupted. So , i installed win 7 again but problem is still their.
I ran wd lifegaurd diagnostic utility using extended option but process is aborted due to too many bad sector.
Is writing zeros using lifegaurd diagnostic utility will help or not.
Please suggest.

Bad sectors are inaccessible hence can not be rewritten, they can be hidden but I am not sure if lifeguard has that functionality. if the drive is still under warranty send it back
Seconding the above reply. Blue has a 2 year warranty, I believe, best bet is to RMA it if it’s under warranty.
