Wow - so it’s dying. Bugger! I had hoped a reformat would fix it.
Any idea what causes all those bad sectors and read errors? Defective drive? (It doesn’t matter to WD as I’m outside warranty, but just out of interest)
For some reason I expected more life from the drive, am I misguided on that front?(used for 3.5 years at about ~6hrs/day in a PVR)
