Firmware Enterprise class disk

Hi,

I’m trying to figure out what version of firmware there’s on my 4tb Wd disk.

I dont have a dock to put it in c’ause it’s a SAS disk.

Specs:

4TB WD Re

S/N: [Deleted]

DATE: 29 APR 2014

Is there way i can check the firmware without connecting it?

Unfortunately, firmware revisions are not printed into WD drives, requiring a drive diagnostic in order to identify the firmware.
