ERROR/STATUS CODE: 0141

[ Edited ]

WD2500KS-00MJB0

Firmware 02.01C03

DLG Diag 5.19 fails on this drive with "UNKNOWN ERROR" above...most of the time.  It seems when I use another diag, it may "clear" this condition or even create it.

I've tried known good cables/controllers (I'm testing 9 other identical make/model drives).

I cannot find any information on error 0141.  Does anyone know what it means/how to clear it permanently?

Re: ERROR/STATUS CODE: 0141

Hello,

If the DLG fails, the most recommendable thing to do is contact WD for replacement. You can do so either by phone or email.

This is an RMA/replacement (refurbished) drive that is now out of warranty; therefore, if it can't be revived, it goes to File 13.
