What’s the difference between these WD drives: WD30EZRX, WD30EZRSDTL and WDBAAY0030HNC-ERSN ?
They all have:
- IntelliPower
- 64MB Cache
- 4KB sectors
I’am a little bit confused !

The “X” in “WD30EZRX” denotes a 6Gbps SATA interface speed, while the “S” in “WD30EZRS” denotes 3Gbps.
“WDBAAY0030HNC” is the model number for a retail kit (as opposed to a bare drive). I’m not certain, but I suspect that you may get either of the 3Gbps or 6Gbps models in the kit.

I also intend to buy a new Green drive and was really looking for some information differentiating the various AV / AV-GP / RS / and so on designations.
Thank you!
