Caviar Green - Out of Region

Why does my WD Caviar Green SATA Hard Drive 1 TB, purchased “legally” from a North American on-line retailer, is now listed os “Out of Region”  in my registered products?  I only purchase for site that are based and supported in North America (Canada.)

I don’t know, i had the same issue (but in Argentine).

I contacted wd explained what happened and they fixed it.

Contact  WD’s Technical Support about this, they will update your warranty region.  You can do so either by phone or email.
