Was used as a storage drive in a Windows 7 Ultimate computer. Moved this drive to a brand new HP Envy Phoenix 810-160 Windows 8.1 with MS-7826 KAILI MOBO. When booting up, won’t show up in BIOS or Disk Management so obviously system cannot see it. Any ideas on fixing this issue?
Check cables and connecters; maybe use different ones. If you have an external dock, try it there. Unless you gave it an ESD shock when you moved it from PC to PC, it is doubtful that anything bad happened to it.
