Two WD essential PCB boards destroyed, need help

Greetings Sunworshiper,

I’ve encountered a similar issue and have pursued the same course of action, yet with no success. Despite acquiring a new chip, my MyBook remains unrecognized and reads as unallocated. I’ve refrained from formatting it to prevent data loss. Is there any other avenue I should explore or attempt?
